Sergio Reguilon and Pierluigi Gollini react after news coming out of Tottenham yesterday
The 24-year-old central defender has joined the Ligue 1 side on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.
The Welsh international struggled for game time last season, playing just three Premier League matches for Antonio Conte’s side.
His prospects of breaking into the first team this season were dampened even further by the loan signing of Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet.
Rodon was linked with a move to newly promoted Fulham, but has instead made the switch to Stade Rennais, who will be competing in the Europa League.

Reports suggest that he has been offered to Inter Milan, and the 25-year-old did not travel with the squad on their pre-season tour to South Korea.
