Ederson started the remaining games in the Europa League and played a key part as Atalanta won the competition. They will play in the Champions League next season as a result.

GiveMeSport have shared an update on Ederson’s future, and they have revealed that the Atalanta star is open to making a move to Liverpool in this window.

The report adds that Ederson is ‘highly regarded’ at Liverpool, and Atalanta will sell him if they get a fee in the region of £45 million.

However, the twist in the story is that despite the admiration, Liverpool ‘have opted against attempting to sign him at this stage’.
