Liverpool’s summer transfer window is yet to get up and running as Arne Slot continues to welcome his players back for pre-season.
An interesting few months await Liverpool following the departure of Jurgen Klopp at the end of last season.
A lot of unknowns will surround the reds with Arne Slot taking to the dugout in his first ever season in the Premier League.
However, what has remained the same at Anfield is the squad of players he has inherited with no new additions having been made yet.
But it seems that the Dutch manager is looking to use some of his connections to change that with the 45-year-old having now made contact with one of his targets.

Arne Slot contacts Liverpool target over possible move
When a new manager comes into a club, he will require time to assess the options which he inherits from the former regime.
In this case, Slot is taking on a strong squad which finished just nine points off the title-winners last season.
Small tweaks to the Liverpool side may be all that is needed over the coming weeks to see the Reds progress under Slot in his first season.
And it seems as if the new Liverpool boss has now asked one of his contacts if he’d be looking to move clubs.
According to Calciomercato, the new Liverpool manager has now contacted Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners in recent days.
It is claimed the Dutch manager contacted his compatriot over his availability this summer.
Liverpool hold an interest in the 26-year-old midfielder with the Netherlands international poised to leave the Serie A outfit over the coming weeks.
Koopmeiners would mark an impressive addition for a lot of sides this summer with the midfielder having been labelled as ‘the best midfielder in Europe‘ last season.
Teun Koopmeiners has eye on Juventus transfer
TBR Football understands that Koopmeiners has made it known he wants to join Juventus.
Chelsea had talks earlier in the summer, but they went for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after learning that he had committed to joining Juve.
Liverpool like Koopmeiners, even before Slot arrived, but they have also been informed he is looking to finalise a move to Juve despite the interest from England – he wants to play for Thiago Motta.
TBR understand Juve are in talks with Atalanta and would ideally like to send a player in the opposite direction rather than paying a full cash offer.
