Arsenal look to be closing in on another signing and Fabrizio Romano has provided the details of when the deals could be completed.

Arsenal are wanting to bolster their squad in order to compete for the Premier League title and hopefully win it next season.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted the latest on their pursuit of one transfer target – David Raya. It looks like the transfer will be completed soon. He said: “David Raya deal, sealed between clubs. Medical tests booked on Thursday then he will be unveiled as Arsenal player.”

The North London club clearly mean business this summer transfer window and have added some world-class signings to the squad.

Arsenal will complete medical for David Raya soon

The Spanish goalkeeper is no doubt a very top talent who has impressed and he would massively strengthen the squad for next season.

Raya has been one of the best Premier League goalkeepers in the division over the last couple of seasons. He is a great shot-stopper but also really good on the ball as well.

The “world-class” player may have to compete with Aaron Ramsdale, but it feels like the club wouldn’t be spending an amount reportedly around £30million if they saw Raya as a number two.

There is definitely the argument for both goalkeepers in terms of who should be the number one. It will be very interesting to see what Arteta does after Raya signs.

The Gunners clearly mean business next season. They have already claimed the first scalp over Manchester City this season by winning the Community Shield.

They will be hoping that adding all this talent will be able to help them get back to the top and hopefully lift the Premier League trophy again.
