Tottenham Hotspur’s chief footballer officer Scott Munn has been speaking about Daniel Levy’s experience in the transfer market.
It’s fair to say that Daniel Levy continues to divide opinion among Tottenham supporters.
The Spurs chairman has overseen a period where the club have picked up just one piece of major silverware in over 20 years.
But Levy seems to have landed on something positive with Ange Postecoglou, with the Aussie making an impression during his debut season in the Premier League.
He’s also made some significant changes behind the scenes at Tottenham over the past year, with the likes of Scott Munn and Johan Lange brought in.

Munn officially started as Spurs’ chief football officer back in September after working as part of the City Football Group.
Now, the Aussie has been speaking about his early months in north London and in particular, Levy.
Munn makes Levy claim
Speaking to Optus Sport, Munn was asked about the difference between the Premier League and A-League when it comes to transfers.
“It’s vastly different,” he admitted. “But I think one of the wonderful things for us is clearly Daniel’s been around for a long time now, 20 years, I would say probably one of the most experienced global administrators in transfer windows and you see that.
“I’m able to see that first hand. Then we’re supported by an amazing team, Rob Mackenzie, our chief scout, then Johan Lange our technical director.
“Incredibly well-prepared. Two guys that understand the DNA of the club. Rob previously worked for us before he returned as chief scout.”

While Levy remains under pressure from Spurs fans to deliver silverware, he has taken some positive steps over the past year.
Tottenham had lost their identity under former bosses Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, with many fans disgruntled over the style of football.
Postecoglou is certainly delivering entertainment but the Aussie is desperate to deliver sustained success at Spurs.
Cristian Romero has already called for Levy to continue with the positive changes off the pitch.
One criticism that has been aimed at Levy is that he has failed to take Spurs to the next level at crucial moments during his tenure.
Tottenham fans will certainly be hopeful to see change on that front over the coming months and the early signs of Postecoglou’s tenure have been encouraging in that regard.
