Roy Keane has now been complimenting a change Arsenal have made this season when discussing who will win the league this year.
Following Manchester City’s draw at Liverpool yesterday, Mikel Arteta’s side will now remain top of the league until after the international break this month.

And with 10 games to go, Arteta may now feel as if his Arsenal side are in a much better mental position than this time last year.
It was about now that Arsenal began to wobble, much because of injuries to the likes of William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Gunners simply didn’t have the strength in depth to replace those names, their strength was in their eleven.
That being said, when speaking on Sky Sports yesterday, Roy Keane thought Arsenal had made a real change this year.
Keane praised Arsenal’s physicality right now, saying he doesn’t think they’ll simply fade away like last campaign.
The pundit stopped short of tipping his old rivals to win the league title, but he definitely seemed to suggest that Arsenal have a good chance.
Roy Keane says Arsenal look so much stronger in this year’s title race
Keane praised Arsenal’s recruitment over the summer for this change, saying they’ve added the right kind of profiles.
He explained: “Honestly I can’t call it. Last year I never had any doubt that City would win it.

“I’m not betting against them [this year] but I look at Liverpool today, and they were creating chances and I look at Arsenal and physically compared to last year Arsenal look a much stronger team, so I don’t think they will fade.
“The recruitment and players they have brought in, they have added strength and quality. Arsenal look ready for the challenge. I don’t know who to go with.”
Of course, Keane must be mainly referring to the impact Declan Rice is having for Arsenal this year.
Although similarly imperious, the likes of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have been stalwarts for some time now.
But when you consider that Arteta even now has an imposing front line as well, with Kai Havertz also being quite a physical profile, there’s a clear change.
And Arsenal fans will be growing in confidence that something special can be achieved this year.
Of course, all eyes are now on Tuesday’s tie with FC Porto, and it seems one player has already booked his spot in the XI.
