Fabrizio Romano has told Caught Offside that Armando Broja has already given the green light to a move to West Ham this summer, but Chelsea are still weighing up what to do with the striker.
Broja’s future remains up in the air. He returned to Stamford Bridge off the back of an encouraging loan spell with Southampton, in which he scored six Premier League goals.

The Albania international is one of the only one-and-out strikers currently in Thomas Tuchel’s squad. However, it appears that he could depart once again in this window.
Reports claimed that Everton have made Broja their top striker target. And obviously, that would present Broja with the chance to work with Blues legend Frank Lampard.

However, it seems that Broja wants to head elsewhere – if Chelsea allow him. According to Romano, he has already decided to make the switch to the London Stadium. But the move may only be a loan.
“Broja is still waiting for Chelsea to decide what to do with him. The youngster has already given the green light to a move to West Ham. There are also other clubs in the race but David Moyes is insisting and Broja would like an experience at West Ham,” he told Caught Offside.
“Thomas Tuchel is convinced that Armando is a jewel: the decision will be for Chelsea, but in my opinion the ideal for Broja is to go on loan for another year and then return to London.”
West Ham signing Broja on loan could be ideal for Hammers
West Ham fans may be wary of a loan move for Broja. It would be a blow if they were unable to bring him back if he proved to be a success with the club.
But Southampton supporters will tell you that there were times when Broja was disappointing. He is certainly not the finished article just yet, even if he was labelled ‘incredible‘ during his time on the south coast.
Perhaps that makes a loan move even less appealing. However, it may give the Irons a chance to cut their losses if he does not kick on from here.
And given Chelsea’s track record for struggling to give youngsters a chance, there is every likelihood that he could be sold next summer even off the back of a superb loan.
