AS Roma are in talks with Wolves over a move for goalkeeper Rui Patricio, according to Sky Sports.
The publication is claiming that the club are demanding between £10m and £13m for the Portugal international. It’s significantly higher than the £6.9m Wolves were reportedly demanding in May. Jose Mourinho is keen on a move for the Euro 2020 ace.
Patricio has just one year left on his deal at Molineux Stadium having joined the club back in 2018. The 33-year-old shares an agent who works closely with the former Chelsea boss, Jorge Mendes.
The ace has been a solid part of Wolves since his move from Sporting CP. In his 127 appearances across all competitions, the figure has kept 37 clean sheets.
Matt Murray labelled him ‘Mr consistent‘.
