A report from Italian outlet Calciomercato has surprisingly claimed that Wolves could be prepared to sell Rui Patricio for just £6.9 million with Jose Mourinho keen to bring him to Roma.
Patricio has been an outstanding signing for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. The 33-year-old has already made 110 Premier League appearances for the club having arrived in 2018.

But it would appear that he could be on the move this summer. According to Calciomercato, Wolves may sell the Portuguese, with Mourinho keen to land the goalkeeper.
And surprisingly, Wolves may not set a huge asking price. According to the report, they may be prepared to let him go for just £6.9 million (€8 million).

TBR View: Wolves better off holding onto Patricio for final year of his contract
Admittedly, losing Patricio on a free next summer – if no new contract can be agreed – would not be ideal by any means. But surely the benefit of cashing in the coming months would be smaller than keeping him for one more year.
Replacing Patricio with a goalkeeper just as good could easily cost considerably more than £6.9 million.
So unless they have something special up their sleeve, Wolves would surely be better off snubbing Mourinho’s interest and holding onto Patricio.
