Liverpool legend and former striker, Robbie Fowler, has sent a message to reported target Erling Haaland to try and entice the Dortmund man to Anfield.

The Reds are said to among a cluster of clubs keen on signing Haaland next summer. It’s reported a fee of around £70m – or even less – could do the job to bring the Norwegian to the Premier League.
Fowler, who scored more than 100 goals for the Reds in spells in the 90s and 2000s, is clearly a fan of Haaland. And taking to his Twitter account today, Fowler sent Haaland a tongue-in-cheek message after receiving a signed shirt from the Dortmund star.
Haaland is widely seen as one of the very best talents in world football.
His goalscoring exploits for Dortmund have drawn admiring glances from every club in the world, with Liverpool among the teams keen.
Fowler, given his own exploits in front of goal, clearly knows a striker when he sees one. And if Haaland does pay any attention, then Fowler might well be doing his bit for the Reds here.
TBR’s View: Haaland to Liverpool is dreamland
The thought of Haaland in between Salah and Mane in a front three for Liverpool is frightening for opposition teams but something of a dream for Jurgen Klopp.
Whoever gets Haaland will be adding guaranteed goals to the cause. They’ll also be getting a player who really has limitless potential.
Fowler, for his part anyway, is doing his best here. In fairness, if Haaland did half as well for Liverpool as Fowler did, he’d be on to a winner.
