Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool head into this season as the three favourites to win the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta, Arne Slot and Pep Guardiola will all be vying to win the Premier League this term, buy, as ever, there can only be one winner.
Predicting the Premier League has been rather simple in recent years as Manchester City have won five of the last six league titles, but, this year, the league is slightly more unpredictable.
Indeed, Arsenal have strengthened and Liverpool are an unknown quantity under a new manager.
The league is tough to predict this year, but, as ever, Rio Ferdinand has stuck his neck on the line, and tried to predict who will win the league on TNT Sports.
Rio Ferdinand predicts Premier League winner
Ferdinand shared his verdict on who will win the title.
“I think it’s hard to go against City because of how successful they’ve been over the last four seasons. They’ve set a new benchmark and now a new record of four in a row and that’ll be their aim, that’ll be the target and that’ll be the thing they’ll be aiming for, for sure in their dressing room,” Ferdinand said.
“But I just think Arsenal, maybe [Riccardo] Calafiori coming in on the left side, if he kind of comes in and shores that area up, I think he’s a fantastic player, played in a Bologna team under Thiago Motta that had a lot of rotations so he understands that type of football that [Mikel] Arteta wants to play.”
“And I think that was the area that you would say was a slight weakness in the team and I think he gives them more balance there and a bit of stability, more stable so I’d go maybe Arsenal to win and there’s got to be a hunger. And there’s my top four there, I’m going to go with that.”
“Man United improving on that eighth position of last season to top four but I’ve got a sneaky feeling about Arsenal.”

Arsenal have a big chance
This is a huge chance for Arsenal to finally win a league title.
The Gunners have been knocking on the door for the past two years, and now, they may be ready to knock it down.
Manchester City are still incredible, but after four consecutive titles, fatigue may be setting in, while their star players such as Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker are getting to ages where they may be past their best.
Paul Scholes has tipped City to win the title, but Arsenal have a real chance to win the title this season.
