Rio Ferdinand has heaped praise on Arsenal star Bukayo Saka following his performance against Sevilla in the Champions League last night.
The 22-year-old England international is one of Mikel Arteta‘s best players. He has been incredible for a few years now, and he stepped up for Arsenal again last night with a goal and an assist.

Rio Ferdinand praises Arsenal star Bukayo Saka
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has come under a bit of criticism for his form over the last few weeks.
The Englishman hasn’t been at his absolute best this season. He still looks like he’s struggling with his injury issues and just doesn’t seem to be his usual self.
However, a sign of a great player is that he delivers even when he’s not at his best, and Saka’s numbers this season tell us that he’s an incredible player.
Against Sevilla last night, Saka helped Leandro Trossard open the scoring with a lovely assist. In the second half, he scored a fantastic goal himself to double Arsenal’s lead.
On TNT Sports during their coverage of the game last night, Rio Ferdinand heaped praise on the 22-year-old.
He said: “He has been in ridiculous form for a long period of time now, for such a young player. Defenders should never be allowing him back on his left foot.
“I’m not saying he’s anywhere near [Arjen] Robben yet, but certain players always want to get back on their left foot. And you know it’s coming but they are so good at disguising and trickery that they manage to do it.”

Arsenal star Saka’s numbers are ridiculous
Every Arsenal fan who has watched Bukayo Saka this season will tell you that he has been nowhere near his best. However, his numbers are still amazing.
The 22-year-old has six goals and seven assists to his name already this season. That is an incredible return for a wide player, especially someone as young as him this early in the campaign.
Even if Saka continues at this rate, he should easily be able to get 15 goals and 15 assists by the end of this season, but we feel he can get much more than that once he returns to his best.
Saka is a superstar of a player, and it won’t surprise us at all if he ends the season with 35 direct goal contributions in all competitions.
