Reporter shares how much Arsenal will have to pay to sign Odegaard from Madrid permanently
Chris Wheatley has suggested on Instagram that Martin Odegaard could be available for £35 million, amid rumours that he wants a move back to Arsenal.
Odegaard spent last season on loan at Arsenal and in recent days talk of a potential return has heightened.
The reporter has claimed that the playmaker wants a move back to the Emirates Stadium, while Sport says that he thinks their style is perfect for them.
It has also been claimed by the Football London journalist that Arsenal retain an interest in the 22-year-old.
And Wheatley has now suggested that a fee of around £35 million may be enough to land the playmaker on Instagram.
Number 10 search
If Odegaard was to sign for Arsenal he could finally end their search for a number 10.
Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of playmakers this summer, but are yet to get a deal over the line.
The advantage of signing Odegaard would be that he should need little time to adapt, after spending six months with the Gunners last term.
And with the season now so close to starting back up, that could be crucial if Arsenal want to hit the ground running.
