Real Madrid are considering putting Martin Odegaard back up for sale after his performance against Rangers in pre-season with the player wanting a move back to Arsenal, Sport say.
Odegaard returns?
Odegaard spent last season on loan at Arsenal with Mikel Arteta initially keen on bringing him back to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
When Madrid changed managers with Carlo Ancelotti coming in it was initially expected that he would stay, but it seems that there are now doubts over that happening.
Odegaard failed to catch the eye as Madrid lost to Rangers in pre-season at the weekend, which has led to his future being put into doubt.
Odegaard’s potential move to Arsenal could now be back on according to the latest update from Spain.
Perfectly suited
Interestingly Odegaard is said to believe that his style suits Arsenal perfectly and also the Premier League.

That makes the move appealing for the Norwegian, with Odegaard now said to be wanting a return to Arsenal.
If the Gunners could pull off a deal, particularly on a permanent transfer it would be a major boost.
Odegaard showed real flashes of class last term and although he didn’t produce the biggest numbers in terms of goals and assists he did inject more creativity into their play.
The 22-year-old also knows Arsenal’s squad well now, and should take little time to settle in, which could be beneficial – with the season now on the horizon.
