Reported Newcastle United and Leeds target, Tanguy Kouassi, is set to be offered a new three-year deal by PSG, as the French club look to tie down his services.
The promising young talent has broken through into the Ligue 1 club’s ranks this term and is highly thought of in Paris.

However, he is yet to sign a professional deal with PSG. But according to Le Parisien, a deal is set to be laid out for him this weekend as he turns 18.
It is believed Kouassi is keen to stay with the French champions and continue his development.
But Leeds and Newcastle could still scupper any potential deal. That is because, according to the report, French rules state a maximum three-year deal is all that can be offered by PSG. That, then, could leave the door open for the English duo to put a longer deal on the table for Kouassi.

Newcastle obviously holds financial muscle over Leeds but previous reports from 90 Min claimed there was more to a potential Kouassi to Leeds deal than meets the eye.

That’s the reality facing Newcastle and Leeds here. They’d have to put a long contract on the table and put down a serious amount of money to blow Kouassi away.
Given PSG have almost unlimited riches, it’s hard to see either club doing that.
Kouassi should develop into a top player. He’s already been marked out in the French press as one to watch, drawing comparisons to France legend, Marcel Desailly.
Hopefully, Kouassi can develop and come to the Premier League at some point in his career.
