Tottenham Hotspur supporters may be intrigued by reports emerging from the Daily Mail concerning Nuno Espirito Santo’s future with Wolves.
Spurs are apparently admirers of the Portuguese. The Daily Express reported last week that Tottenham wanted the 47-year-old should Jose Mourinho leave this summer.

Of course, that situation came to a head much sooner than most expected with Mourinho leaving Tottenham at the start of this week.
It remains to be seen if Spurs decide to step up their interest in Nuno. But it does appear that Wolves are preparing in case their manager does move on in the near future.

According to the Daily Mail, they are looking at potential candidates to come in and replace Nuno should he walk away in the summer.
The Mail notes that Vitor Pereira, Rui Faria and Bruno Lage are on the club’s radar. The name that may stick out to Spurs fans is Faria, who was Mourinho’s assistant for a long time before his move to North London.
The report does note that Nuno has been linked with Spurs. But they also highlight that there is interest in him from Spain.
TBR View: Spurs appointing Nuno would be gamble
Nuno has largely done an outstanding job at Molineux. He guided the club to the Premier League and then into Europe.
And it must be noted that this season’s performance has a huge asterisk against it with Raul Jimenez missing the majority of the campaign due to injury.
But it may alarm some Spurs fans that plenty of Wolves supporters felt that Daniel Levy would be making a mistake appointing Nuno.
It does feel that his tenure has stagnated a little this season. The style of play is not always winning a lot of admirers.
So after parting with Mourinho, appointing Nuno may prove to be a gamble from Spurs.
