Wolves fans react as Spurs reportedly eye Nuno Espirito Santo

A number of Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Express claiming that Spurs are interested in Nuno Espirito Santo.

Jose Mourinho is coming under increasing pressure in North London. Tottenham have experienced a sharp decline since going top of the Premier League earlier in the season.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Mourinho. Spurs are not out of the running to finish in the top four. And they could yet win silverware with the Carabao Cup final ahead.

The Daily Express reports that if a change is made in the summer, Nuno is one of the managers on Daniel Levy’s radar.

The report suggests that Wolves would want £8 million in compensation should Tottenham come calling. But judging by the reaction, it appears that some Wolves fans would not be too disappointed if he was lured away from Molineux.

Some seemingly think that they need a new manager to move on to the next level. And they are baffled at the idea of appointing Nuno as Mourinho’s successor if Tottenham have any desire to change their style of play.
