Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Coventry City striker Viktor Gyokeres as they look to bolster their attack according to the latest reports.
Sky Sports suggest that Wolves are the leading club in the Premier League for the signature of the Sky Blues striker.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace and West Ham are also thought to be admirers. Wolves are the ‘leading club’ in the Premier League in signing the player.
The Championship side want around £25million for the forward. His departure could depend on what division Coventry are in. They are in the play-offs and could get promoted to the Premier League.
Wolves are desperate to add a new striker to their attacking lineup and multiple players from the Championship have excelled in England’s top flight.

Wolves want to sign Gyokeres
The “unbelievable” forward has had a great season with Coventry. He has scored 21 goals and picked up 10 assists in 46 league games this season.
The £25million-rated powerhouse’s overall tally this term reads 47 games in all competitions, 22 goals and 10 assists.
Raul Jimenez has not been able to get back to his best since his long term injury. Meanwhile Diego Costa is a veteran striker and has only one league goal this campaign.
This emphasises the need for Wolves to pick up a good striker. Gyokeres is still only 24 years old and he is showing great quality and potential to get even better.
The forward has also already played for Sweden. He has three goals in his 13 international appearances for his country.
Wolves had a bad season as they were struggling at the bottom of the division for quite a while. They managed to turn things around and survive this campaign but it emphasised their need for better players.
Gyokeres is a great place to start looking, but with multiple Premier League clubs trying to target him it will not be easy to sign him.
