Leeds United fans are unlikely to witness another game this season as dramatic as the one they saw against Bournemouth this weekend.

Crysencio Summerville scoring his third late goal on the bounce to earn his side an important win.

A report from The Athletic watched manager Jesse Marsch’s throughout the match.

The American manager is a character on the side lines.

His involuntary reaction to Summerville’s late winner against Liverpool was even questioned by his wife.

However, it was Marsch’s reaction to Bournemouth’s second goal that shows how involved he is during matches.

Leeds raced into a 1-0 lead in the opening minutes through a Rodrigo Moreno penalty.

They weren’t ahead for long though, and some suspect defending allowed Bournemouth to equalise through Marcus Tavernier.

Philip Billing put the visitors ahead just over ten minutes later, much to the frustration of the Leeds fans.

Marsch’s frustrated reaction to Bournemouth’s second goal

The report from The Athletic suggests that Marsch was furious with his side when they went behind.

Marsch launched his coat into the dugout when the ball hit the back of the net.

On a day when the weather was horrendous, Marsch was willing to battle the elements to show his disdain for his side’s performance.

Marsch explained after the match what he told his players at half-time.

The Elland Road crowd were certainly mimicking Marsch’s frustration at that point, but came away from the game delighted with the result.

Marsch was booed by sections of the Leeds crowd after their 3-2 defeat to Fulham.

There have been times when the Leeds manager’s job has been under pressure in this campaign.

However, Marsch’s reaction after Bournemouth’s second goal shows how much he still cares.

Whether that’s enough if his team don’t produce miraculous second-half comebacks, only time will tell.
