England and Tottenham Hotspur fans have been holding their breath over the fitness of Harry Kane.

The talismanic forward is an essential player for club and country, and has had his injury concerns in Qatar.

A report from The Mirror has provided an update on Kane after England’s latest training session.

Kane was caught on the foot against Iran in England’s opening World Cup game.

With the game already wrapped up, Gareth Southgate brought Kane off before full-time.

However, he did play on for around 15 minutes after the initial contact.

Kane was sent off for a scan on his foot, and there was plenty of speculation around whether he would play against the USA.

Thankfully, he was fit enough to complete the full 90 minutes as England all-but-secured their place in the last 16.

The Mirror now report that Kane has been back in England training ahead of their final group match against Wales.

Kane still playing in England training

Kane was in good form in training the report suggests, slotting several neat finishes past England goalkeepers.

The Mirror went on to say, ‘Kane certainly did not look to be feeling that foot problem he had scanned after the Iran game.’

This is very positive news for both England and Spurs, who won’t want their centre-forward playing through an injury.

Kane was spotted hobbling after the match against the USA, but this doesn’t appear to be a concern anymore.

Southgate may still consider resting Kane tomorrow, giving either Callum Wilson, Marcus Rashford or even Phil Foden a start.

It will be very difficult to convince Kane to sit out of the match against Wales.

Despite not scoring in Qatar yet, he’s very close to breaking Wayne Rooney’s England scoring record.

To do it against Wales, on the biggest stage, will be a huge motivator for the 29-year-old.

Kane being back in England training and scoring goals is fantastic news as England look to cement their place at the top of Group B.
