The former Manchester City left-back has been a regular starter for Leipzig, but his position in starting line-up is in doubt after Dominic Todesco’s side brought in Germany international David Raum.
According to the Spanish report, Angelino has plenty of options if he leaves the club this summer, including David Moyes’ side who are interested in a loan move or a permanent deal.

Brighton and Hoffenheim have also shown an interest in the former Spanish under-21 international, but his preference is to the continue playing in the Champions League.
Angelino isn’t the only Bundesliga player West Ham are interested in signing, with Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic also heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium.
West Ham interested in Angelino
There have been reports that there is interest in current West Ham left-back Arthur Masuaku, although at this time he is set to stay at the club.
However, Angelino represents an immediate upgrade on the 28-year-old, and with Aaron Cresswell the only player capable of playing left-back in the squad, a move for Angelino makes complete sense.
An attacking wing-back, Angelino recorded three goals and 12 assists in all competitions last season, and according to former manager Julian Nagelsmann is capable of scoring ‘world class’ goals.

West Ham have already made significant moves in the transfer market this summer, spending significant sums on Gianluca Scamacca and Nayef Aguerd, although their new centre-back has already picked up a significant injury.
Angelino may need some convincing to join West Ham if he wants to continue playing Champions League football, but the left-back would significantly improve Moyes’ West Ham side, and any interest should be acted upon before the transfer window closes.
