West Ham have reportedly had discussions over a move for Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan.
According to the Evening Standard, the Irons have already had talks about potentially signing the 27-year-old.
The 6ft 7in colossus shot-stopper enjoyed a strong domestic season last year with 17 clean sheets in 35 appearances for Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kyiv.
In addition, he was part of the Ukraine side that reached the Euro 2020 quarter-finals before being eliminated by England.
Bushchan played every minute of Ukraine’s three group matches, as well as playing in both the Round of 16 and quarter-final tie in the knockout rounds.
West Ham’s interest in the Ukraine number one isn’t a surprise because L’Equipe, as relayed by The Boot Room, reports they are also in discussions about goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

Bushchan a great target for West Ham
Hammers boss David Moyes definitely needs a new signing in goal, so ideally they can wrap something up quickly.
West Ham need competition in net due to the fact they are playing both domestically and in Europe.
Lukasz Fabianski, 36, is still a brilliant option as the number one right now. However, he needs proper competition.
Bushchan is a talented goalkeeper that should be heading towards his peak in the next few years. It would be a statement to bring in an international goalkeeper to bolster the squad.
