Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has reportedly not spoken to Nuno Espirito Santo about his recent omission.
What’s the story?
According to the Athletic, the central midfielder isn’t a particularly confrontational figure. As a result, he is seen as a quiet person and hasn’t spoken to the boss over his absence last week.
The France international was left out of the squads to face Arsenal and Chelsea last weekend. It was confirmed the former Lyon ace trained the week prior to the games.
And it seems as though the midfielder has got into the Portuguese coach’s bad books early on. Nuno claimed in an interview with Sky Sports the 24-year-old wasn’t left out due to injury.

Ndombele heading for ‘infamy’ status at Tottenham
Such was the promise when Tottenham signed the ace, many expected him to be a big player for the team.
Former N17 favourite Danny Murphy labelled the Frenchman as the best signing during the 2019 window.
However, it is fair to say the signing has been anything but a success. A mixture of injury problems and inconsistencies has led to an underwhelming two years.
And with that, Ndombele is heading for infamy status at Tottenham amid his supposed fallout with Nuno.
You rarely ever get left out of matchday squads when you are a manager’s favourite. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say the ex-Ligue 1 man has fallen out with his new manager.
That would be a shame for the Lilywhites, who will be hoping they don’t make a massive loss on the player.
