Tottenham Hotspur really like Weston McKennie, with Calciomercato reporting that Juventus plan to sell the midfielder next year.

It is no secret that Juve are going through a really tough spell. The Old Lady sit eighth in Serie A after just four wins in their opening 10 games.

McKennie has actually been a mainstay of the Juventus side this season. And thus, it appears that he may be one of the players who carries the can for their problems at the start of the campaign.

Calciomercato reports that McKennie will leave Juventus next year. And he could even leave during the January transfer window with Massimiliano Allegri’s men open to offers.

It appears that he could move to the Premier League. Calciomercato adds that Tottenham really like McKennie. So it would appear that Spurs may want to make a move for the USMNT international.

McKennie is no stranger to the Tottenham radar. In fact, Alasdair Gold told his YouTube channel that Fabio Paratici held talks with his representatives last January.

Paratici reportedly adores McKennie. And the 24-year-old was actually higher on Tottenham’s wishlist in that window than Rodrigo Bentancur.

Bentancur did ultimately join Spurs. And he has proved to be a brilliant signing for Antonio Conte’s side. So perhaps Paratici feels even more convinced that McKennie would be a superb addition.

It was Paratici who brought McKennie to Juventus. And he has been described as ‘extraordinary‘ in the past. He is still young and still improving.

And Juve deciding that he is available could potentially be the catalyst for Tottenham. They do not necessarily need to spend a lot of money on another central midfielder. But Paratici may feel that he is worth pushing the boat out for.
