Tottenham Hotspur want Youssouf Fofana, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that the Monaco midfielder is one of several names on Antonio Conte’s wishlist this summer.
Spurs fans are gearing up for an exciting window. Conte is set to be backed in the market. And there is now real hope that the Italian is set to stay heading into next season.

Tottenham have a Champions League campaign to look forward to. So obviously, they will hope to bolster their squad considerably in the coming months.
Tuttomercatoweb has named a host of players Tottenham want. Defensively, Spurs want Gleison Bremer and Alessandro Bastoni.

Meanwhile, they are also keen on Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez if Harry Kane leaves. However, it is looking less and less likely that the England captain will be on the move. In fact, he could now sign a new contract in North London.
In midfield, Fofana is wanted by Tottenham. The 23-year-old has made 46 appearances for Monaco this past season.
Tottenham want Youssouf Fofana
Fofana is a well-rounded midfielder. But he is particularly impressive when carrying the ball forward. Interestingly, two of the players FB Ref compare him with are Pape Matar Sarr and John McGinn.
Sarr, of course, has been on loan at Metz from Tottenham this summer. Meanwhile, reports claimed Conte wants McGinn. So that helps explain why Spurs may now be keen on Fofana.
And he has been tipped for a bright future. Cesc Fabregas recently suggested that he would like to see Fofana at Liverpool or Bayern Munich at some stage.
Fofana only has two years left on his contract in the Principality. That can be a precarious situation. So Tottenham may be hoping that Monaco may be open to agreeing a deal in the coming months.
