Tottenham want Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad as part of their attempts to add another striker to Antonio Conte’s squad.
Football.London say that Spurs want increased attacking depth, especially as they look set to play in next season’s Champions League.
Finding cover and competition for Harry Kane has been a consistent issue for a succession of Spurs managers.
Kane’s future is still not sealed, but there are no obvious alternative clubs who could sign him now that Erling Haaland has gone to Manchester City.

Tottenham want Alexander Isak
Their report reads: “A couple of talented 22-year-olds have also been catching Spurs’ eye, as well as most clubs across Europe.
“Real Sociedad’s Swedish striker Alexander Isak and Uruguay international Darwin Nunez, who has netted 34 goals in 41 matches for Benfica this campaign, are both players of interest.
“Bayer Leverkusen’s 26-year-old Czech Republic striker Patrick Schick has also been watched as he has plundered 24 goals in 31 matches this season.“
Isak is one of the hottest young striker’s in Europe and it was reported two months ago that Arsenal had already been in contact with his agent ahead of the summer window.

Isak has a release clause of £67 million, and was hailed as ‘exceptional‘ by Gary Lineker during last summer’s Euro 2020.
Sweden got to the last 16 of that tournament before they were eliminated by Ukraine, and Isak will not be at the World Cup later this year after Poland beat them in the play-offs.
£67 million is a lot for an alternative to Kane, but Liverpool and Manchester City show the levels of attacking depth and quality needed to compete on all fronts.
