Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are rivalling Arsenal for the signature of Marco Asensio, with Calciomercato reporting that they are amongst a host of clubs keen on the Real Madrid star.
Asensio’s future at the Bernabeu remains up in the air. The Spain international is out of contract with Los Blancos at the end of the season. And he is refusing to sign fresh terms.

He is no stranger to links with the Premier League. Calciomercatoweb reported in the summer that Tottenham and Arsenal wanted the winger. And there was hope that his £34 million asking price would drop further.
Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal keen on Asensio
Obviously, Asensio ultimately stayed put. But it seems that the list of admirers remains extremely long.

According to Calciomercato, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool want to bring Asensio to the Premier League. Meanwhile, Juventus and AC Milan want to offer him a route to Serie A. And there is even interest from Barcelona.
He will not come cheap – even on a free transfer, however. Calciomercato reports that Asensio wants a net wage of over £120,000-a-week at his next club.
The 26-year-old could be a remarkable signing on a free transfer. He is someone who has made 239 appearances for Real Madrid during his career, scoring 50 goals.
He has struggled with injury in the past. But many of those issues appear to be behind him now.
Asensio has been labelled a ‘world-class‘ player in the past. He can play on either wing, as well as through the middle.
And given the sides in the running, it is going to be a real coup for whichever team manages to secure his signature.
