Tottenham Hotspur are rivalling Arsenal for the signature of Marcus Thuram, with 90min reporting that Spurs want the Frenchman ahead of the final months of his current contract.
Thuram is already on the cusp of enjoying the best season of his career to date. Previously, he had never scored more than 10 league goals in a single campaign.

This time around however, Thuram is already into double figures in the Bundesliga. And he is one away from his best tally in all competitions.
Tottenham now want Arsenal target Marcus Thuram
The 25-year-old goes into the World Cup break with seven goals in his last eight league appearances. His form earned him a late call-up to Didier Deschamps’ France squad for Qatar.

And it seems that he is attracting interest from a number of clubs.
Reports from Milan Live claimed that both Arsenal and Aston Villa want Thuram. Meanwhile, 90min is now also suggesting that the Gunners have their eye on Thuram.
But they add that Tottenham are monitoring the striker – and watched him in action for Borussia Mönchengladbach in their clash with Borussia Dortmund last week. Thuram scored in the 4-2 victory.
90min notes that his contract expires at the end of the season.
Thuram offers a lot across the forward line. He can play up front or out on the left. And he has 26 assists in 119 games for Borussia Mönchengladbach.
He is quick, clever with his movement and makes life incredibly difficult for defenders. Denis Zakaria suggested that what he brings to the pitch is ‘phenomenal‘.
He has not always been the most prolific goalscorer during his career. But given his contract situation, the door is open for a potential bargain.
And he now has both Tottenham and Arsenal chasing his signature.
