Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing FC Nantes goalkeeper Alban Lafont as a replacement for Hugo Lloris.
Tottenham will still be reeling from suffering their first league defeat of the season at the hands of arch rivals Arsenal.
The Gunners second goal came via Gabriel Jesus, but Lloris did not cover himself in glory.

He pushed Bukayo Saka’s effort back into the danger area, and failed to deal with the rebound.
Lafont is the latest goalkeeper Tottenham have reportedly shown an interest in recently.
Another Frenchman, Leeds United’s keeper Illan Meslier, has also been linked with a move to north London.
While Antonio Conte is also a big fan of Barcelona stopper Mark-Andre ter Stegen.
However, Lafont offers Tottenham an excitement option for the present and the future.
Tottenham interested in Lafont
Jeunes Footeux report that Lafont only has two years left on his current contract at Nantes.
If he doesn’t sign a new deal, Spurs could negotiate a very reasonable fee for the 23-year-old.
It wouldn’t be the first time the ‘huge’ Lafont has replaced Lloris.
When Tottenham’s skipped dropped out of the France squad last month with an injury, it was Lafont who took his place.
The young goalkeeper has made it clear he wants to go to the World Cup, although it’s unlikely Didier Deschamps will be dropping Lloris from the squad going to Qatar.
He had arguably the greatest game of his career against a former Tottenham favourite; Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino’s PSG side lost 3-1 to Nantes last season after an amazing performance from Lafont.
For context, Erling Haaland became the 14th player yesterday for his performance against Manchester United, where he scored a hat-trick and provided two assists.
Lafont has serious potential and has shown he’s capable of producing his best in the biggest games.
Tottenham would be wise to act on this interest in the summer and make a move for Lafont.
