Tottenham Hotspur have now confirmed their interest in Weston McKennie, with The Times reporting that they have now made an enquiry for the midfielder.
Spurs are stepping up their efforts to get players through the door for Antonio Conte. Ivan Perisic looks set to be their first signing of the window with a medical taking place this week.

Of course, Perisic would become the latest name to arrive from Serie A. The likes of Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have been inspired additions so far.
And the Croatian may not be the last to make the move from Italy. Reports previously claimed that Tottenham were interested in bringing McKennie to the Premier League. Fabio Paratici signed the USMNT international for Juve.

And The Times is now reporting that an enquiry has been made. Juventus meanwhile, want £33 million for the 23-year-old.
Tottenham made McKennie enquiry
McKennie is a player who may divide Tottenham fans. He has not had the easiest time with Juventus. And he has only shown glimpses of his quality.
However, at his best, he is an ‘extraordinary‘ talent. And Spurs probably would not have signed Bentancur or Kulusevski had they not been struggling with the Old Lady somewhat.
Conte has got the best out of both players. And there is real excitement for what they could do next season. Certainly, signing Kulusevski looks to be a potential masterstroke.
McKennie would face a battle to get in the side initially. Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg formed a brilliant partnership. And they have Oliver Skipp to come back into the fold.
But McKennie definitely has the potential to be an amazing signing.
A deal has perhaps moved a step closer with Spurs making an enquiry.
