Tottenham Hotspur have now asked about Leandro Trossard, and 90min reports that he is the first-team regular starter most likely to leave Brighton during the January transfer window.
Things appear to be moving quickly when it comes to Trossard. Reports from the Daily Mail this week claimed that Tottenham are interested in signing the 28-year-old, whose contract at the Amex Stadium now expires at the end of next season.

Meanwhile, journalist Alex Crook claimed on Twitter today that Arsenal are monitoring his situation.
Tottenham ask about Trossard
Obviously, Brighton have no intention of letting the Belgian leave on the cheap. He is the club’s top goalscorer in the Premier League this season. And the high point of his campaign came when he scored a hat-trick at Liverpool.

But it would appear that there is scope for a deal.
According to 90min, Trossard is the regular starter most likely to leave the south coast in this window. Meanwhile, the report suggests that Tottenham have made their move and asked about his availability.
Spurs do not view Trossard as a top target right now. But there is some time to go before the deadline passes.
It would be a gamble for Tottenham to let the window close without signing another attacker. They are very much in the battle for the top-four. But they have some catching up to do.
And the absences of Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski have not helped them recently.
Brighton seemingly appear to be open to the idea of Trossard leaving this month – for the right price. So he would have the potential to be a really impressive signing.
He has been ‘fantastic‘ this season. And he would not need time to adapt to the league. So it would not be a surprise if someone tried their luck before the month ended.
