Tottenham are reportedly setting their sights on available manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
According to talkSPORT, Spurs are looking at the 47-year-old boss as a target.
It is understood that Spurs’ sporting director, Fabio Paratici, “favours” Nuno as the new appointment for their vacant role.
The report explains that Mauricio Pocettino is still being considered, but the north London club are yet to find Jose Mourinho’s successor.
Paulo Fonseca and Gennaro Gattuso are two managers who have come and gone recently in the Spurs managerial rumours, so fans are growing increasingly frustrated waiting for positive news.
TalksSPORT details that Nuno has already turned down a role at Crystal Palace. Additionally, he’s a “strong contender” for the vacant role a Everton.

Nuno at Tottenham looks a bad fit
Nuno, who enjoyed four brilliant years in charge of Wolverhampton Wanderers before leaving them this summer, is a quality manager. But, whether he’s right for Spurs is a completely different conversation.
He’s quite a pragmatic manager that set his Wolves team up to be defensively astute, with a 3-4-3 formation working extremely well.
Spurs need to try get a new man in charge quickly. However, they still need to try ensure it’s the right appointment.
Nuno was linked with Spurs back in April (Express), but he’s once again being spoken about.
