Report: Tottenham are about to make bid for 'incredible' player, but now he's been offered to Barcelona
This works out at around £132,000-a-week and Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in the France World Cup star.
But Spanish outlet Sport claim that Barcelona have now been offered the chance to sign Rabiot as they look for new blood within their current financial constraints.
Spurs target Rabiot offered to Barcelona
The report says that Rabiot will not make a decision on his future until after the January window and will not listen to offers next month.
The Frehchman is apparently open to the idea of playing for Barca as well as making the move to the Premier League as a free agent.
He will leave Juventus on a free transfer in the summer having run his contract down and he could still be a world champion by then.
Rabiot has been a key part of France’s run to the World Cup final but missed last night’s 2-0 semi-final win over Morocco through illness.
He was extensively linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window after the season started, but that move did not happen.
It remains to be seen what his next move is but Spurs may find themselves battling with Barcelona for the central midfielder ahead of the summer.
