Fabrizio Romano claims that Fabio Paratici believes that Dusan Vlahovic could be one of the best strikers in the world in a few years time, amid links with Tottenham Hotspur.
A big fan
Speaking to The Last Word on Spurs, Romano was quizzed on Tottenham’s interest in the Fiorentina striker.
And he suggested that the transfer was being driven by Paratici, who is exceptionally keen on the attacker.
“Fabio Paratici loves this player,” he said.
“He is convinced that he will be one of the best strikers in a few years, because he did really great in Seria A. And he’s convinced he’s an international player, not just for Serie A.
“That’s why Tottenham are really keen on him and also Atletico Madrid.
Fiorentina are offering him an important contract and from hat I’m told salary is close to being agreed, it’s about the release clause that they do not have an agreement between Fiorentina and Vlahovic’s camp.”
Strong addition
If Tottenham were to land Vlahovic he certainly could be an exciting addition to their side.

The 21-year-old blasted in 21 goals in Seria A last term, which makes him one of the most in form strikers in Europe.
He has also caught the eye in pre-season, with Vlahovic netting seven goals in an 11-0 win for Fiorentina over Foligno in the past fortnight.
If he was to arrive at Tottenham then Nuno certainly would have some firepower at his disposal.
All suggestions that claimed that Tottenham want Vlahovic to partner Harry Kane rather than replace him.
And with those two and Heung-Min Son up-front, Spurs could have a seriously potent attack next term.
