Spanish club Villarreal are reportedly in pole position to sign Bournemouth star Arnaut Danjuma, amid Leeds United links this summer.
According to The Sun, Villarreal are frontrunners in the race for the 24-year-old attacker.
The report explains the La Liga outfit had a £13million offer rejected earlier in July for the Bournemouth ace, but they are still leading the chase ahead of Premier League clubs for him. In addition, Championship side Bournemouth would be open to selling him if the fee were right.
The Sun, as relayed by The Boot Room, previously reported that Leeds, Leicester City and West Ham were among the clubs interested in Danjuma. Also, that he’s got a £35million price tag on his head.
Danjuma, who earns £28,000-a-week, is a dazzling wide player renowned for his pace and dribbling.
The Dutch left-winger is an exciting flair player to watch, but he contributes in the final third, too. He scored 17 goals in 37 games across all competitions last season.

Danjuma would suit Leeds, but rumours suggest a deal is unlikely
Bournemouth speedster Danjuma would fit Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds XI with his energy in wide areas.
However, it doesn’t look like the Yorkshire club are main contenders for his signature.
Jack Harrison’s permanent arrival at Elland Road means the Whites have plenty of quality in wide areas, so their focus should be on a couple of other positions right now in the transfer window.
For instance, it would be great to see some cover arrive for Kalvin Phillips.
