How much Arsenal are going to pay for Mudryk

Foot Mercato claims that the Gunners are now nearing an agreement with Shakhtar to finally bring Mudryk to north London. And the outlet has shared how much they could end up paying for the winger.

The two clubs are still discussing bonuses but they are said to have almost agreed on the overall fee.

According to the outlet’s source which is ‘close’ to the deal, the Gunners could end up paying around €100 million (£88.3 million) to see off interest from Chelsea.

Talks are set to continue throughout the week as Arsenal look to wrap up a deal for Mudryk.

The Daily Express reported this morning that Arteta’s side are confident they will be able to complete the deal by the end of this week.

Chelsea had entered the race to sign Mudryk but he seems set on a move to north London. The youngster has posted several hints on his social media accounts over the past few weeks, suggesting he favours a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal fans will be delighted that their side are seemingly closing in on this deal, especially after Graham Potter’s men entered the race.

Arteta will need fresh faces this month in order to keep his side at the top of the Premier League and signing Mudryk would be a brilliant start to the window. The Gunners may be paying over the odds for the winger, but the move shows they are serious about backing their boss in the middle of a title race.
