West Ham are interested in signing Marcos Senesi, with 90min reporting that Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the other Premier League sides to have watched the defender recently.
The Hammers seemingly cannot afford to let the January transfer window close without signing a new defender. They have lost Kurt Zouma for the coming weeks, while Angelo Ogbonna is out for the season.

90min reports that Senesi has been watched on a regular basis by a number of clubs. They claim that Barcelona made an enquiry for the Feyenoord stalwart this year.
His future looks to be somewhat up in the air. The report notes that his contract expires at the end of next season. And while the Eredivisie side wish to keep him and tie him down, several clubs look set to test their resolve.

90min reports that the Hammers are admirers. Meanwhile, Leeds, Spurs and Newcastle have taken a look at the 24-year-old in recent months. Manchester United and Aston Villa also have him on their radar.
Marcos Senesi could be an inspired signing for West Ham, Leeds or Tottenham
Senesi would tick a lot of boxes for the likes of Leeds, West Ham and Tottenham. He is someone who plays in the left centre-back role with Feyenoord.
The Argentinian loves to drive out of the defence with the ball. But he is also more than confident when it comes to spraying a diagonal pass out to the opposite wing. He finds himself in the top 10 for passes per game in the Eredivisie this term, according to Whoscored.
He is also inside the top 20 for aerial duels won.
Leeds have been linked with Senesi for some time. And the fans would certainly not have a problem with the Whites bolstering their ranks in January.
Antonio Conte meanwhile, is still putting together his side at Tottenham. Ben Davies has been excellent on the left of the back three. But you can understand why Spurs may have their eye on a more natural option in case Davies does not kick on.
But clearly, West Ham have the greatest need to sign Senesi. The Irons have another superb opportunity to achieve something special this term. But they need greater depth as they continue to battle at home and in Europe.
