Arsenal could be offered the chance to offload Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to a Premier League rival in January, with the Daily Mirror reporting that Newcastle United are interested in taking the striker on an initial loan.
The Daily Mirror suggests that Aubameyang may have already made his final appearance for the Gunners. A breach of discipline led to the striker being stripped of the captaincy.

He has been out of the fold for some time. And there has been speculation that he could leave in January. But of course, his £250,000-a-week wages make finding a buyer incredibly difficult.
However, Newcastle may be about to try their luck in an attempt to land Aubameyang. The Daily Mirror reports that they want to take the 32-year-old on loan in a deal that includes a £20 million option to buy. There has apparently been contact between the two clubs.

Arsenal likely to be conflicted over loan offer from Newcastle for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Ideally, Arsenal would surely prefer to offload Aubameyang abroad. And they must be hoping someone comes forward with a permanent offer.
So Newcastle offering a loan with just an option is not ideal. However, the Magpies’ offer could still prove to be a very smart piece of business from the Gunners.
Playing against Arsenal will likely go against the rules of Aubameyang’s loan. But he could come up against all of the sides the Gunners are battling with for a top four spot. And he could potentially help wrestle points off of them.
And should he thrive at Newcastle, he will either complete a £20 million move to Tyneside, or he will likely attract a buyer from elsewhere.
Offloading his wages in January would certainly be a big boost.
