Leeds United look set to be dealt a huge blow with The Telegraph reporting that the Whites fear that Kalvin Phillips is set to be out for up to two months due to a hamstring injury.
Phillips limped off during the second-half of Leeds’ draw with Brentford on Sunday. His withdrawal came amidst a mad seven minute period in which the Bees came from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 at Elland Road.

Thankfully, Patrick Bamford earned Leeds a point in stoppage-time. Unfortunately, the euphoria of that equaliser may be about to evaporate.
The Telegraph reports that initial assessments on Phillips’ hamstring suggest that he could be out until February.

Leeds in better position to deal with Kalvin Phillips injury
Leeds supporters have been fearful about the news regarding Phillips ever since he came off on Sunday. It remains the case that Marcelo Bielsa has never quite been able to find someone to provide genuine cover for the 26-year-old.
He is probably the one player that Leeds fans would pick to be protected at all costs – such is his importance to the Whites system.
It is a massive setback to lose him. But it would appear that Leeds have a better chance of coping without Phillips than they have had at any other time since promotion.
Adam Forshaw has been a revelation since returning, and Stuart Dallas looks to be getting back towards his best. Meanwhile, Pascal Struijk and Robin Koch are completing their own comebacks from injury.
Struijk and Koch have struggled at times in that role. But they have also had moments when they have shone in that area of the pitch.
Leeds are facing an uphill battle keeping themselves out of trouble while Phillips is sidelined. But Bielsa will still be optimistic about the options left available to him.
