Tottenham Hotspur appear to be on the verge of landing a player who was reportedly closing in on a move to Arsenal.
Last week, Calciomercato claimed that Yves Bissouma looked ‘destined to remain in the Premier League to play for Arsenal next season’.
Now, it looks as though that report was half-right. Bissouma looks set to stay in England, but for Spurs rather than the Gunners.

Speculation linking the Brighton star to Tottenham has intensified this week.
Now, Sky Sports has reported that Spurs have agreed a £25million deal to land Bissouma.
The outlet also claims the 25-year-old will undergo a medical with Tottenham on Thursday.
Bissouma – who Graham Potter has called “incredible” – looks set to become Tottenham’s third summer signing.
Goalkeeper Fraser Forster and winger Ivan Perisic joined Spurs earlier this month, both on free transfers.
The news will come as a huge blow to Arsenal fans, given Bissouma is an incredibly talented player.
In addition, the Mali international appeared to have made overtures towards the Gunners in the past.
Last week, Bissouma shared an Arsenal fan’s Instagram post saying he needed to be signed at all costs.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham have been watching Bissouma since he played for Lille.
He was reportedly on their list of targets to replace Moussa Dembele in 2018.
The report adds that Antonio Conte loved what he saw from Bissouma during his performances against Spurs last season.
As well as Arsenal, Aston Villa and Everton had apparently also been eyeing the player with a view to a summer swoop.
However, it looks as though Tottenham have won the race for one of the most highly sought-after players of the summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will probably have to look elsewhere.
