Leeds United have been linked with a move for Croatian talent Josko Gvardiol this summer.
Sportske Novosti is claiming that Leeds have already agreed a €20 million (£17.7m) deal with the player’s club, Dinamo Zagreb. That report states the deal could be finalised after the international break and Dinamo’s Champions League qualifier against Ferencvaros.
However, it does not appear that Leeds will have a free run at the youngster.
It is being reported that German side RB Leipzig are also keen on the player. Vecernji List is suggesting that the Bundesliga side are also keen on the player. No doubt it is a deal that would make sense. Bringing in young talent from across Europe is the transfer strategy of the German side and Gvardiol would fit the bill.

Leeds United are said to be keen on Gvardiol, who would effectively act as a replacement for Gaetano Berardi in the Elland Road backline.
Leipzig, however, have the option of sending him out on loan to a sister club like Red Bull Salzburg to play regular football at such a young age and the club’s recent run in the Champions League would make them an attractive proposition.
As pointed out by TBR Football this week, Gvardiol has recently started following both Leeds and Leipzig on his Instagram account, so no clues there.
But it appears both clubs will be doing battle to try and secure this teenage talent’s services this summer.
