According to reports in France, PSG are now well in the race to sign Tottenham and Antonio Conte target, Marcelo Brozovic.
Le10 Sport claims that PSG are keeping a firm eye on proceedings with Inter Milan and Brozovic. The midfielder could be free to leave in the summer, having yet to come to terms on a new deal in Italy.
Reports have suggested Tottenham also want to sign the Croatian. Antonio Conte is a big fan of the midfielder, and it’s claimed Brozovic could demand up to £7.5m-a-year to leave Inter.

That sort of money is no problem for a club like PSG, of course. The French giants have made a habit of splashing the cash on freebies in recent times, so aren’t averse to handing out big contracts.
For Tottenham, they’ll be hoping that the influence of Conte can help them prevail in the race for Brozovic. The Croatian was a key figure in Conte’s Serie A winning Inter side. A reunion in North London, then, is an obvious transfer link.
TBR’s View: Tottenham need Brozovic and Conte needs backing
The acid test for Daniel Levy and Tottenham will come in January and the summer. If they back Conte properly, it will show they mean business.
Otherwise, there’s simply no point in appointing the Italian manager to try and bring success. In a nutshell, if Conte wants some top players like Brozovic, then Spurs need to make it happen.
Brozovic certainly fits the bill for Tottenham. He’s an all-action midfielder capable at both ends of the pitch. Crucially, he is a trusted player for Conte and could make an instant impact.
Money will probably talk in the end here. But Tottenham and Levy need to at least ensure they give it a good go. Otherwise, Conte might well become frustrated quickly.
