Arsenal have reportedly been joined by Southampton in the race to sign Tammy Abraham.
According to the Evening Standard, the Saints are eager to snap up the reported Gunners target.
Arsenal have been linked with the Chelsea striker for a number of weeks, along with West Ham and Aston Villa.
According to the Daily Express, Arsenal are willing to meet Abraham’s £125,000-a-week wage demands.

However, Southampton now find themselves needing to replace Danny Ings, who joined the Villans on Wednesday.
They’re set to land £30million for Ings, according to the Evening Standard.
But given how important he has been for Southampton, they need to replace him with a top player.
Saints are now looking to reinvest the Ings money, but would apparently prefer a loan move to a permanent deal.
Chelsea, meanwhile, would prefer to sell Abraham outright, and his valuation starts at £40million.

Southampton vying with Arsenal over “unbelievable” player?
Abraham appears surplus to Thomas Tuchel’s requirements at Stamford Bridge.
But the 6ft 3in sharpshooter is a high-calibre player who has done well throughout his career.
Abraham has taken in three loan stints while at Chelsea, including at Villa.

He was sensational on loan at Villa Park, scoring 26 Championship goals en route to promotion.
Abraham has since shown he has what it takes at the highest level with Chelsea.
The £80,000-a-week ace claimed 18 goals and six assists in 2019-20, and 12 goals and six assists last season.
Jack Grealish described Abraham as “unbelievable” and said he “loved playing with him”, which clearly shows how much quality he has.
