Liverpool failed to sign RB Salzburg striker, Patson Daka, after the player had reservations about a potential lack of game-time at Anfield.
Daka was a player Liverpool were said to be keen on this summer. However, as reported on TBR recently, the Zambian star is set to sign terms with Leicester City.
And according to a report from Zambian Football today, Daka has apparently chosen the Foxes after promises about first-team football.

The report, which cites claims from sources of Zambian Football, says that Daka’s management team were not impressed with the proposals from Liverpool or West Ham.
It is suggested that the Reds wanted to use Daka as a fringe player. And given he scored 34 goals last season, that didn’t sit well.
Instead, it appears Brendan Rodgers has given assurances. This, despite Kelechi Iheanacho finishing the season well and the evergreen Jamie Vardy still going strong.
Daka, though, will be a welcome addition. At 22, he fits firmly in with the ethos of the Foxes, too. And with Vardy still about, he has the ideal mentor to learn from as well.
Liverpool, meanwhile, remain on the hunt for new players. A new forward is said to be a priority.
Leicester nab Patson Daka and Liverpool could rue this one
Reds fans will be keeping an eye on Daka this season. A 34 goal striker doesn’t just slip away for nothing, so if he does fire, Liverpool might regret it.
Furthermore, Daka has also been compared to Thierry Henry in the past. If he lives up to that billing, then Leicester have quite the player.
Daka should be able to light up the PL in fairness to him. His pace, power, and natural finishing mean he is tailor-made for the English game.
Liverpool, then, will be waiting with baited-breath to see if they’ve dropped a bit of a clanger here.
