Tottenham Hotspur stars were busy at work at Hotspur Way yesterday ahead of their big game against Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.

Antonio Conte’s men are desperate for a win in the Premier League. Spurs have lost three games on the bounce and although their top-four hopes aren’t dead yet, their chances don’t look great anymore.

If Arsenal win their games in hand and West Ham continue to do well, Tottenham will find it extremely difficult to leapfrog their two London rivals.

However, all they can control is their performances and Conte was seen pushing his players in training yesterday.

Fabio Paratici spotted speaking to Son Heung-min in Tottenham training yesterday

Football London listed a few things they spotted during Tottenham’s training session at Hotspur Way yesterday.

Eric Dier is back in training after missing the last few games due to injury, while 17-year-old striker Dane Scarlett was put through his paces under the watchful eyes of Conte.

Harry Kane and January signing Rodrigo Bentancur were reportedly ‘very serious’ throughout the session, which is a good sign for Spurs fans ahead of the game this weekend.

The most interesting spot, however, was a conversation between Son and Fabio Paratici on the Hotspur Way pitches yesterday. It’s not usual to see the managing director come all the way down to the training pitches to talk to a player, but that’s what happened yesterday between the ex-Juventus man and the £22 million South Korean.

The Insider’s View:

Tottenham have to find a way to bounce back after three consecutive defeats in the Premier League.

Spurs were really poor against both Southampton and Wolves last week and they deserved to lose both games. Things get tougher now as they head to the Etihad to face Manchester City in what is arguably their toughest game of the season yet.

Tottenham’s star players, Harry Kane and Son, have to step up and lead their side to victory tomorrow. Perhaps, Paratici was giving the ‘special’ South Korean a few tips on how to get in behind the City defence. Probably not, but Spurs fans will be hoping that their conversation will lead to something positive, on and off the pitch.
