Report: Paratici offered more than £50m for Adama Traore at Juventus
Spurs are pushing on with their attempts to try and sign Adama Traore from Wolves, and Fabio Paratici will be determined to get a deal done.
Nuno Santo is thought to be pushing Paratici to get a deal for Traore over the line. Reports suggest Wolves want over £40m for their man, while Spurs are looking at a loan-to-buy deal again.
There is high hopes though among those at Tottenham that they can get a deal for Traore done. And Paratici, who has enjoyed quite the start to life in the hot-seat in North London, will be determined this time.
That’s because Football.London have reported that Paratici offered over £50m for Traore while he was in the same role at Juventus. Obviously, he fell short but now has a second chance to land the Spaniard.
And that is set to play into Spurs’ favour. Paratici won’t want to see Traore slip the net again, while Nuno Santo’s push – and relationship with Traore – should also help.
TBR’s View: Determined Paratici won’t let this one go
There’s no chance Paratici is going to want Wolves to see him miss out on the same player for two clubs. Not one bit.
The Spurs supremo will now be determined to get a deal for Traore over the line. He might have failed at Juventus, but with Santo at his side, surely he will get his man this time.
For Traore, this is a good move which could prove hard to turn down.
