Rodrigo Bentancur is set to undergo a medical with Tottenham Hotspur, but The Sun claims on their live transfer blog (31/1; 10:02) that there are still sides looking to snatch him away before he joins Antonio Conte’s men.
Bentancur looks set to be one of two Juventus players who join Tottenham on the final day of the January transfer window. The Sun notes that he is set to cost Tottenham £25 million.

He has been a superb performer for Juve throughout his time with the Old Lady. The Uruguayan has won three league titles while in Turin.
So for many, it would be a real coup for Tottenham to get a deal for Bentancur done. And it does seem that a move is progressing, with Bentancur about to undergo a medical.

However, it does appear that there is an outside chance of a late twist in the tale. The Sun reports that other clubs remain interested in the 24-year-old.
Tottenham fans may fear the worst as other clubs still eye Bentancur
To say that the January window has not gone to plan for Tottenham would probably be an understatement. It will be amazing to many that they are yet to confirm a signing.
So hearing that other clubs still want Bentancur will concern plenty of their supporters. It may be nothing out of the ordinary. But some fans will probably fear the worst upon hearing that there may be some late competition.
