Tottenham Hotspur are not only on the verge of finalising a deal for Dejan Kulusevski, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that an agreement with Juventus is also now in place for Rodrigo Bentancur.
Spurs look set to be one of the busier sides in the final couple of days in the January transfer window. It has, so far, been a hugely frustrating month for Antonio Conte’s side.

The good news is that a deal for Kulusevski looks to be close. Tuttomercatoweb reports that an agreement has been reached for the Swede. Sky Sports meanwhile, suggests that he will arrive on loan with Tottenham having the option to buy.
But he may not be the only player to make the move from Turin to Tottenham imminently. Tuttomercatoweb adds that Spurs have now agreed terms with Juventus for Bentancur.

It is claimed that Tottenham are set to pay £20.8 million for the Uruguayan. However, Spurs would also like to offload either Tanguy Ndombele or Giovani Lo Celso before confirming the move for Bentancur.
Tottenham fans will hope moves for Bentancur and Kulusevski do not prove to be panic buys
There is always a danger that signings made at this stage of the window are panic buys. Fans obviously have reason to wonder how high those players were on the wishlist when the month began.
Kulusevski has struggled to establish himself as a starter for Juve. Meanwhile, Bentancur has probably not been in the best form this season.
Tottenham fans will hope therefore, that the pair are able to make major contributions to the club’s top four push.
It is a positive that Tottenham appear to be on the verge of announcing new signings with an agreement for Bentancur now reached.
But the fans would also be pleased if it emerged that Fabio Paratici felt that there was more work to be done before the deadline passes.
