Report: Newcastle and Spurs target Jack Harrison open to leaving Leeds
Jack Harrison is open to leaving Leeds United this summer, with The Telegraph reporting that several clubs want the winger in the coming months.
Harrison will currently be celebrating his part in keeping Leeds in the Premier League. The winger finished only behind Raphinha at the top of the club’s scoring charts.
His eighth goal of the campaign came on Sunday as Leeds secured survival. Harrison bagged the winner that ensured that Jesse Marsch’s men would definitely be playing top-flight football again next year.
The result gives Leeds fans real hope for the summer. Certainly, none of their key men will now leave on the cheap.
But it is still possible that some do move on. Raphinha is reportedly still likely to leave. And Kalvin Phillips is a wanted man.
But Harrison is wanted, too. Reports claimed that Newcastle and Tottenham are eyeing the 25-year-old.
And The Telegraph reports that Harrison is actually open to the idea of moving this summer.
Harrison open to leaving Leeds
Plenty of Leeds fans will dismiss the idea of Harrison leaving. He has been integral for a number of years. And he has enjoyed his best campaign yet in front of goal.
It was clear just how much it meant to every single player to keep Leeds in the Premier League. Harrison looked absolutely desperate for Leeds to find a winner before his strike went in.
Of course, he will have ambitions of playing at the very highest level. He is a ‘fantastic‘ player. And clubs such as Newcastle and Tottenham can offer some exciting moves.
But he is not yet the finished article. And Leeds will surely fancy their chances of convincing Harrison to stick around and continue his development at Elland Road.
