A move away for Manchester City player Ivan Ilic has been labelled as ‘complicated’.
According to Torino Granata, Hellas Verona could struggle to complete a deal for the midfielder after Ivan Juric left.
The former manager departed the club at the end of the last campaign for Torino.
As a result, the youngster could end up in Turin, however, he is not a priority for the Serie A side. But the previously £10.3m-rated player will not drop off the club’s radar.
Ilic’s contract expires next summer, leaving the Citizens in a perilous position with regards to his future.
He enjoyed a great time on loan last season, making 29 league appearances as Verona finished in 10th place.

Manchester City need to ensure they don’t lose Ilic for free
Among all the problems in transfers, losing a talented youngster is up there with the worst of them. However, losing a talented youngster on a free is even worse.
Manchester City need to ensure they don’t lose Ilic on a free transfer in a year.
Selling the player should be a priority for the northwest giants. But, if they can’t garner any interest before the end of the transfer window, they should extend his contract.
We have seen examples of how letting players leave for free or on the cheap can come back to bite sides.
